About Graphic Recording

Graphic recording is drawing LIVE at an event. Usually digitally, sometimes hooked up to a screen, and occasionally using old-fashioned pen and paper. Your own event artist, basically!

Graphic recording is all about getting the feel of an event, creating visuals with pictures and words which cohesively pull together what your event is about, and what is happening.

It’s a great way for punters to recap easily what they’ve seen and heard. Or explaining to people who couldn't be there what your event was all about!

Sophie provided a graphic illustration service for our four-day rare disease scientific conference. She produced a very high quality product, and I would highly recommend her for any corporate/professional graphic illustration work.

Sophie is an experienced Graphic Recorder who is a member of the Association of Illustrators. She is based near London and has worked across the UK and internationally.

She now works full-time as an artist and author, but she also has a law degree from the University of Warwick. This background means she can expertly distill large amounts of information into the salient points, and find engaging ways to present them.

She'll help you with every step of the graphic recording journey, and will provide a contract to give you peace of mind.

Before your event

Once you've accepted the quote, I'll send you a contract to sign, to give you peace of mind.

We'll have a pre-event video conference to discuss your needs and desired outcomes.

I'll research your subject so I can provide the best possible service on the day.

At your event

I'll arrive at the conference with plenty of time to spare to get set up and ready.

Unless otherwise discussed, I'll provide all necessary materials and connective cables.

And then I'll illustrate your conference in just the way you want!

After your event

After the event, I'll provide you with the artwork in the format we've agreed.

For digital art, if there are any amendments or changes you'd like, one round of edits is included in the price.

You'll be licensed to use the artwork in the way you want to.
